The Early Childhood Department at Southeastern Academy provides a nurturing environment where children aged 18 months to 6 years develop at their own pace through hands-on learning experiences.

Arrival & Morning Welcome

Children arrive, hang up belongings, and settle into the classroom with quiet activities.

Morning Work Cycle

Uninterrupted time for individual and small group work with Montessori materials.

10:00 AM

Circle Time

Group gathering for songs, stories, calendar activities, and community building.

10:30 AM

Outdoor Play

Time for gross motor development, nature exploration, and free play in our outdoor environment.

12:00 PM

Lunch & Rest Time

Nutritious lunch followed by quiet rest time for younger children, continued activities for older children.

Afternoon Work Cycle
