Join us for an exhilarating display of academic prowess and oratory skills at our annual Inter-House Quiz Competition and Debate. Witness students from all houses compete in challenging quizzes and engaging debates that showcase their knowledge and critical thinking abilities.

About This Event

The Inter-House Quiz Competition and Debate is a cornerstone of our academic calendar, designed to foster healthy competition, develop public speaking skills, and encourage intellectual curiosity among our students through challenging academic contests.

Competition Format:
  • Morning Session: Quiz Competition covering all subjects
  • Afternoon Session: Debate Competition on current topics
  • Team Composition: Mixed-age teams from each house
  • Judging Panel: Subject teachers and guest experts
  • Final Round: Championship debate and quiz finale
Activities Include:
  • Multiple-choice and short-answer quiz rounds
  • Formal debate sessions with prepared arguments
  • Impromptu speaking challenges
  • Subject-specific quiz categories
  • Team collaboration and strategy sessions
  • Award ceremony for top performers

  • Registration: 8:30 AM at auditorium entrance
  • Opening Ceremony: 9:00 AM with house chants
  • Quiz Competition: 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Lunch Break: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
  • Debate Competition: 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
  • Awards Ceremony: 2:30 PM - 3:00 PM

Note: All participating students must wear their full school uniform with house colors. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend and support their children. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Refreshments will be available for purchase during breaks.

Join our Junior High School students for an enriching educational trip that brings classroom learning to life! This full-day excursion combines scientific discovery with environmental education at two of our region's premier educational institutions.

About This Event

The JHS Educational Trip is designed to provide hands-on learning experiences that complement our curriculum, allowing students to explore scientific concepts and environmental principles in real-world settings through guided tours and interactive exhibits.

Trip Itinerary:
  • Morning Session: National Science Museum exploration
  • Interactive Exhibits: Physics, biology, and technology displays
  • Guided Tours: Expert-led museum and garden tours
  • Afternoon Session: Botanical Gardens nature walk
  • Learning Stations: Environmental science activities
  • Group Discussions: Curriculum integration sessions

  • Supervision: Teachers and parent volunteers

Note: All JHS students must submit signed permission slips by February 12, 2026. Students must adhere to all safety guidelines and stay with their assigned groups throughout the trip. The school will provide transportation, entrance fees, and supervision. Parents will be notified of any changes via school communication channels.

About This Event

Our Independence Day Celebration is an annual tradition that brings together students, staff, parents, and community members to commemorate Ghana's journey to independence while educating our students about national heritage and civic responsibility.

Celebration Program:
  • Flag Raising: Official national flag ceremony
  • Cultural Performances: Traditional dances and music
  • Student Presentations: History and civic education displays
  • Guest Speakers: Community leaders and veterans
  • Patriotic Songs: National anthem and folk songs
  • Cultural Exhibition: Traditional attire and artifacts

Note: This is a formal school event and all students are expected to participate. Parents and family members are warmly invited to attend. Photography and videography will be conducted for school records. In case of rain, the event will move to the school auditorium with adjusted programming. Traditional attire representing all regions of Ghana is encouraged to celebrate our national diversity.
